Up here, winter and spring have been just about spot on average, but I hear it's been dry down south. In my experience if we get a good soaking rain once a month through the hot part of the summer, everything will be okay. Last summer was an unbroken heat wave extending well into fall, but fortunately there wasn't much lightning and everybody was careful not to start any fires. This year, June's been as wet as average, which is good for the huckleberries as well as keeping the fire hazard down and the trout cool
