I really suspect he is the Arizona eBay seller and is doing anything he can to drive the price up so he can sell at a higher price. Fine with me, he can do that, but the market will set the price in the long run.

I do not believe that any of the Arizona PWs or carryall ever sold. I may be wrong, but I don't believe so. Obviously the market did not support that person's price. It will be interesting to see if the carryall comes back on the market later this year at $250K and sells. If it does, it ups the value of mine.

Concerning the PW for 87K in Kent WA. It is a nice truck and appears to be a quality truck. It appears to be a great restomod. It is located about 30 min from me. Would I buy it, no. The simple reason is that it is priced out on the very high end of where these trucks have sold for in the recent past. I am not convinced that the market will support that price in the near future. So to buy that truck, in my opinion, is a higher risk for not being able to get the purchase price back for quite some time.

Legacy prices its trucks quite high also. They have a list price $250K for a carryall. I wonder what they really sell for. I have seen a couple of their PWs come back on the market at a price lower than list price. Again we are looking at a very special market of the upper 1% of the trucks and a very limited clientele. This doesn't define the market as some people hope.

If I were actively in the market for another PW I would be looking for a solid original unrestored truck at a decent price. I would pay a good price because I believe that the best return is to be had in that market segment. Buyers are always looking for that type of truck. If you restore or restomod such a truck, your costs would be lower and would have more room to make a profit.
