What do you guys think is the best turn signal stalk? I have a 16" diameter non original steering wheel in my WC53 but with a round column like stock, nothing hot rod or anything (however 2" OD tube) and want to keep a vintage turn signal. Avoiding chrome and trying to limit reflective metal textures (zinc/stainless) also as I am sticking with a Mil-spec theme. If I can disassemble the assembly and have it powdered to match the interior, which will be an OD green of sorts, thats not a big problem.

I'm looking at the old Signal Stat 900s. I am running a CAN bus wiring system so all I need the switch to do is close a ground and not carry any amperage; And actually I would prefer it to just be a momentary or for there to be a way for me to spring load it to become momentary. The CAN bus is programmable to where you just momentary close the ground to the system, it turns on the turn signal. The turn signal stays on for (default 20 seconds or whatever you set it to) or indefinitely while you are holding the brake pedal (it talks to brake pedal switch) and then for 20 more seconds after you let off brake pedal if you don't cancel it yourself, To cancel it yourself you momentary bump the turn stalk again in the same direction you turned it on and it turns off. Pretty cool stuff and no flashers to wire. The 4 ways are same deal, just a grounded switch, either momentary or constant, you can decide when you set it up.

Anyways, the late model M-series military 12V switches just seem a bit bulky. The Signal stat stalks seem a touch short for what I remember to be a 16" diameter wheel. I have included a picture of my interior.

I'm open to suggestions and sources as well. My dad's Kaiser CJ-5 has an old old Sparton that looks super vintage but I can't seem to find any replicas anywhere.

Thanks in advance!
