What you most likely have is a pilothouse era semi -synchro transmission which with a few imrovements came to be known as the NP 420. I have the same tranny which came out of a 1950 or 51 PH 1.5 ton truck. Hope to be able to install it in my WC-12. It has synchro for 3rd and 4th right. How is your drain plus positioned at the bottom of the case. Should be at the brottom rear and horizontal to the case not angled like a crash box tranny.
