When I got mine (the 7.5 horse 3-cylinder version), I went to McMaster Carr and ordered a braided stainless flex line to connect the tank to my garage air piping along with a full flow filter/separator assembly. So I have 3/4" flex line to a 3/4" inlet/outlet filter into the 3/4" copper pipe. Each drop steps down to 1/2" to a filter/regulator so I can have different pressures at different locations plus the second filter/separator at each location.

The other thing I bought from McMaster was an hour meter. Since my unit gets far less use than a commercial shop I wanted to do maintenance based around hours of run-time since the factory recommendations expect way more use than I am likely to give mine in any given time period.

McMaster also had the exact same oil they use so I picked up a few gallons, it's lasted me many years even changing the oil every 100 or so hours (which is maybe once a year for me).

I was wondering about their new silent running feature, looks to be a big intake muffler, interesting. Be curious to see how well you think it actually works.
