As far as Power-Wagon specific parts lists go, these first appeared in list D-13864 issued July 1951. My early '51 B-3PW126 has them factory applied. This is also reflected in the part numbers for the doors themselves, as well as the bare door shell part numbers. The list shows the B-3PW as getting all new part numbers for 1951.

Maybe Kevin can chime in on when the reinforcements first became available for retrofit, but it appears that the 1951 B-3 was the first to get them supplied welded in place at the factory.
