As a seller, it would be easy to print out that $97k bid price... cry the blues to a buyer and say that "I really have to sell this and am willing to take the hit, my loss is your gain,... how about $75k".
Ebay is a great place for advertising an item, even if its way overpriced and you don't sell it there.
