Sheet titanium is available Cheap here, as it is used in heat exchangers at the potash mines. They get scrapped out whenever they start to leak internally. The titanium alloy number is usually unknown, so it is basically worthless to the scrap dealers. I thought I would take 2 exchanger plates and line the inside of the plastic tote with them.

We ended up with 2 Pallets of 5/16" diameter carbon gouging electrodes at work, so I thought I might give them a try as well.

For electrolyte, I was leaning towards something with some "phosphorus" content in hopes that it may create a bit of rust protection. Maybe Real "TSP", or phosphorus rich farm fertilizer base, or some sort of sugar free soft drink???

Ever measure the ph of the solution in your bucket? Any idea about what it should be? 7.5? How many amps/volts do you drive it with? Any worry about current density when it comes to small parts?
Thanks
