I have heard of people having good results but i dont really understand how they work. A common source of imbalance is runout and the weight of the assembly will be highest where the runout is highest. Seems to be the balance beads will travel to the point farthest from center also the highest runout point? This would make the balance worse not better? Of course not all imbalance is runout but when i worked for a balancer manufacturer if we matched the high wheel runout to the low loaded tire runout it usually required very little if any weight to balance.
