Found a screaming deal recently -- a 53 gallon barrel of Sherwin Williams red oxide oil primer for steel, like the old good kind of Rustoleum, for $50. It'll be a lifetime supply, and I figure I can dilute it down significantly and use it for deck/siding stain too. It's solvent-based alkyd paint, not the horrible polyurethane stuff they sell now where the whole can gells up if you open it and don't use it immediately.

But now the question is how to stir it and extract a small amount. Weighs about 500 lbs so shaking and pouring aren't really options. Any ideas? Not interested in buying some fancy industrial equipment just for this one barrel, either.
