Open 1/2" pipe with 1/2" fuel line from the tank to the lift pump. The fuel hose is stainless braided Aeroquip line with AN fittings. I will double check the connections. My original lift pump wouldn't prime and i was trying to get running and used the one off the 6bt I bought off you. So I don't really know the age of the pump. It just seems an odd way to fail on gas engines they usually leak or the engine falls flat at full power. The second time was high load but the first was not. Thinking back when warm this engine has always started instantly and a couple weeks ago I had some trouble starting warm. It would fire then die and I pushed the gas down about a quarter inch and it fired and ran fine afterward.

I still haven't installed the injection pump but I will buy beer and pizza if you want to drive up and install it tonight!!
