It only makes sense the very best rubber, chemicals, and other compounds are used to make a Military tire. Can you imagine trucks that have set for long periods would need their tires changed before being deployed, that wouldn't make any sense.

Rubber makers, tire manufacturers, and automakers can't agree on when a tire is no longer good, to many variables. Ford Motor Co. wrote a letter to the National Transportation Board recommending 6 years and that stuck. I'll keep running my Michelin 1100r16s until they are no longer desirable before changing out to the next set. You're welcome Jerry!
