Big difference on the East Side of the cascades. I would leave mine not started for 5+ months and it would fire right off and be dry inside the cab. Our weather is so much drier here. We have had 6.98 inches of rain so far this year. One rain storm put out .75" per hour once it came down so hard a while back.
