If they're Firestone RH-5* wheels, they are not legal for road use. One blew through a car door and killed a friend's father-in-law as he was driving next to a midsize truck. I had split ring wheels made for my '55 Ford by AWS -not cheap.
If they're five lug on eight inch then there are Budd and Goodyear split rings that will do the job. Try asking Stu (truck dog) on the ford truck enthusiast forum. He keeps a stash for just such occasions.
