The small tag with the serial number must have fallen off. That's a common problem in 1963. I'd get the seller to find the frame number and get that put on the title before paying them. That little issue could be a big hassle depending on what state it ended up in and what the DMV inspection rules were.

I attached a picture of the bigger tag showing the S.O.N.O location and the smaller tag with the serial number. The S.O. N.O. is the sales order number and not the serial number found on the frame and the small tag.

The hood looks to be from a D100 2wd with PW tags added - Eric B 10:52:23 04/15/2016
