It was a factory OE 4WD.
I was working at a Chevy dealer at the time and was able to have the parts guys locate the correct info for the build. I found papers from back in the 60's from UGI (local gas company) behind the seat.
I'm guessing they (UGI) purchased it new?
It had a divorced transfer and the diffs were GM when I pulled them apart. I wanted to put a posi in it however they were a different size ring gear than what was normal for that era.
This was in the late 70's I had the truck so some of the details escape me.
Maybe it's "old timers" disease ;-(
