The tires were BFG Goodrich Radial T/A 245/60R14 that were approximately 10 years old at the time of the blowout. All four tires were purchased new, installed by a shop, only run on my car and never run low on pressure to my knowledge. The tire that blew(right rear tire) was also the one that received the most "abuse" over it's life.

And above is where I was headed at the time of the blowout, though at a different time of year. Happier picture to say the least.
