230 Distributor Question

I'm looking for a source for the cork gasket which seals the distributor housing to the block. I find no mention of it in the shop manual or parts catalog. Also, I'm wondering what the hole is is in the distributor well in the block. At first I though it was an oiling port but a wire inserted into the hole finds its way straight into the pan. I don't want to use a gasket that may block this hole (like an oversized o-ring)if it's nessesary for lubrication. Any thoughts?
