A short while back I lamented the death of my 90'mazda PU, after 12yrs and 207,000+ mi.
I now find myself lacking in newer used vehicle buying savy. Actually I'm in shock at what used vehicles are bringing. I have bit the bullet and searched for a bargain and i think I found one.
Guys help! Is this a good deal or not? I can vaue a older vehicle but these newer ones are priced more than my new 90' model cost.
What I found was, a 1995,Dodge 2500 4x4 std. cab,long bed PU w/ cummins diesel,auto tranny, 81K mi.,w/ good clean interior, good body w/ 2 minor blemishes on pass. side, power every thing,am/fm cassette, sliding rear window, tow package, 1-owner who traded for new vehicle.Runs and drives great. Was asking $14,450, agreed to take $12,000 after 2 days of haggling.
Is this a good deal or is $12,000 too much for a 95' 2500 diesel 4x4 loaded with 81k mi?
I'm without a personal vehicle and I've always wanted a diesel and the 4x4 is a plus. Whadda ya think?
