Hello Derek, If the engine No. is T118 xxxxx than it is a WF 41-47 237 cid. 3 7/16" bore, 4 1/4" stroke, and 6.60 comp. Torque 192@1200 rpm., HP 109@3600 rpm.

The 237 is a good motor for the M-37. Short stroke motors run very smooth at highway speeds and have plenty of torque for off road use. More HP and torque than the 230. If you want a little more HP just mill the head a little. Raise it to 7.50 to 8.00 compression ratio. To make it a 250 you will have to change out the crank and rods for the 250.

I run the 237 in my M-37 and like it very much. Also you may have the flywheel that came with the 237 in which case it may have the 11" clutch which is much better than the 10". The fly wheels on the 237s are drilled for both the 10' and the 11" Starter rings will be the same (146 tooth) as the 230. Hope this helps. Jackson
