Is fifth gear back or forward toward the dash? If it is forward to the dash it is an OD trans. Likely it is a NP 540, which came with a direct 5th or OD 5th.
The rust on the upper cab is caused by lack of putty in the drip rail. It will be very hard to fix and to prevent further rusting.
The hood will interchange with other 69-72 trucks (1972 mediums, not light duty). Door latchs are the same from 1967 to 1972(Med).
How many lugs are on the wheels? Has Warn hubs or equivalent?
