It's probably in the ball park, I paid $800 for a complete bell/flywheel/starter and I was tired of searching at that point. I bought all the rest of the parts seperately for fairly cheap, you just need to consider what your time is worth. I would stick with hydralic, unless your truck has a provision for mechanical clutch like the later ones. There's more to it than drilling a hole in the floor for the rod, hydralic is very easy in comparison. I went from mechanical to hydralic when I did my 440 conversion. If you can find a hydralic bell and all the parts you need for the conversion for $500, jump on it.
