If your school is using Norton Utilities to lock down the computers, it sounds like they have the "Vehicles" box checked in the "blocked sites" list. I would be interested in how they can teach American History without references to Trucks, Trains, Planes, etc. I always thought that these all had an important role in the development of the American Culture. Maybe I read the wrong book. Maybe the library should remove all references to these "vehicles" so that students with some time on their hands won't be tempted to read a book on a topic that isn't being actively taught in the class. Maybe we should permanently remove these books by burning them --- oh never mind, just thinking of another culture. :-)
