Thanks for the thoughts, I think you are right to just find a 3/4 ton axle and be done with it. I,m still having a hard time figuring out why my 1941 WC has a 1/2 ton front axle, and a 1940 VF I bought has the same front axle with the smaller bolt pattern. Some one must have changed axles at one time or another on both trucks.
