I have taken a few of these trannies apart and first off lube is a good idea but first drain the box look for water if you find water stop do not do anything further until you open the top and check out the innards first.
never mix lubes with any other compounds the mix can be first hazardous and worst corrosive and then after you die the parts wont be any good to anyone else. use common since, if need to loosen up parts use diesel fuel (no smokin please)this is a tried and true way of freeing up parts.
open the top fill to the top with diesel let sit one week flush fill with 30wt oil disconnect all shafts get a helper to spin the output flange hold the clutch to the floor while you shift through the gears your helper will have to slowly spin the output while you do this. this is not new farmers have been doing this for seventy years or so
