Your best off using vice grips and screwdriver. I had a pair of brake spring pliers i had purchased from NAPA. I tried using these but the tip would break off making them near worthless. The tool had a lifetime warrenty so i exchanged them. After the third wheel cylender and third tool..I just used the vice grips.
