First let me say that I really enjoy this site, I find it a great resource.
Plus as was said in an earlier post it gives me something to check three times a day. :-)

As to the copyright issue I checked on that, and I found that as long as the information is from a book that does not specifically say in the copyright section that reprinting on an electronic medium is not allowed then you are OK.
This means that even if the book has been reprinted, as long as your information came from a book on which the copyright has expired or does not have a provision for the web, then you are fine.
If you look over the net you will find many examples of people showing information from parts books and repair manuals. The one thing that you do need to be very careful of is trademarks, most companies will really get annoyed if you have their logo in your website.
If the logo is part of another picture, such as your trucks badge on the hood. then you are fine, but if the logo is by itself you better watch out.

I also feel that having an auction page could drive up prices, I mean who would have thought that JFK’s golf clubs were worth $500,000?
But I don't know that it's a bad idea, so I'm fine with whatever Joe decides.
But as a previous responder stated, I find it easier to check one place.

Thanks again Joe, all your work is appreciated. This is a great site!

Eric
