Pass side front bumper- 38-I-293 I
Center Front bumper- (Crossed Flags) BN-HQ
Driver side front bumber- B-85

85=85th Vehicle, B=Company B, 293I=293rd , 38I=38th Infantry Division
Crossed flags=?

The above look like the original markings in white, the rear bumperettes have same numbers, another dark colored set similar to above on top as follows:
pass side front bumper- 38-138S
Center front bumper- (dark star only)
Driver side front bumber- B-85
85=85th Vehicle, B=Company B,138S=138th Signal Corps, 38=38th Infantry Division
on dash 2407369
Registration Number is 2407369

Just for comparison's sake, my markings are:
Passenger side bumperette: 5A CON
Driver's side bumperette: 267-S- 50
I read this as 5th United States Army, 267th Signal Corps, Construction Company,
50th vehicle.
My registration number is: 2428220

Hope this helps.
