My 53 M37 did not have turn signals so I installed signal stat column unit and used 24v flasher and added civilian rear light units with 24v bulbs. existing front parking lights were used. The unequal charge rate comes from a difference in resistance between each battery installation while in parallel. This may be caused by the internal resistance of the batteries or their wiring. The batteries may be different in age or condition (one may have some sulfation.) Make sure the connections are all good and tight. BOB
