believe it or not, some vehicles, Power wagons and Land rovers come to mind here, had provisions to use the truck as a stationary power plant. The pto powered a pulley or other drive mounted somewhere at the rear of the vehicle. When this rear drive took the form of a flat pulley, the truck could be used to power a farm machine, such as a sawmill, thresher, generator%
