Great idea, Jack. Definitely better than some of the household sprays available. We used some stuff made expressly for Black Widows and other eight legged denizens, and it worked quite well if it was sprayed directly on the varmints, but was chancy if you couldn't hit them. It may be available through a commercial or industrial supply house. Maybe the best method is a lot of patience and a good stick.
