I'm trying to buy that red customized 47 WDX that was posted earlier in the forum. I don't have the cash so I'm trying to get a bank loan. The bank has it's 'book" value as $3775. The seller had it appraised at $8500. We are both shocked at how ignorant these people are as to the trucks actual value. Does anyone have any ideas how to get an appraisal for the bank that would reflect a higher value without seeing the truck in person? I don't know if someone like Vintage Power Wagons does such a thing. I guess the bank would prefer if I get a $30,000 P.O.S new truck that will lose it's value the second it goes out the door. I'm about to change banks.
