In looking over a couple of other trucks today I noticed some different ways of attaching the slave cylinder spring to the throw-out bearing arm (or whatever it's called). One used the hole on the inside of the arm and came back to the clip bolted so it hung UNDER the slave cylinder. The other used the spring end in place of the cotter on the pin on the arm. Another one was just a replacement spring with the ends wired to the clip and the end the arm. Kinda funky but it works. Hope this is helpful.
