I'm thinking about making (or having made, if I get lazy) a rough copy of the bed-mounted spare tire bracket. Has anyone done this, or have any suggestions? Would someone be willing to measure their original, and post the particulars? I can get the basics from the holes in the bed, the height of the spare, etc., but it would be nice to have some real guidelines.
Alternatively, does anyone know of a NOS bracket for sale at a decent price? (I've seen them advertised before, but none in recent issues.) I'd prefer to have the real thing, but mainly I just want to get my spare up and out of the way.
