The entire line of starters for the flathead engines fit and interchange easily. My favorite is that from a 6-Volt automobile application, such as a 50's Plymouth or Chrysler. Just bolt it in, and wire up the relay as usual. The 6-Volters turn over briskly on 12-Volts with no apparent damage, and last for years. DG
