You can use Lock right 1210's if you can find some 3/4 ton 9 5/8 carriers, most likely 5.83's, use three gaskets, and 3/8 NC X 7/16 NF special studs, and early 3/4 ton diff covers (round appearance, no ridges probably late 42 to early 43). 1/2 ton side gears have a smaller axle hole but are otherwise the same. The 1210 Lock Right uses the original side gears. The 1210 might fit a 1/2 ton diff case but, I am not positive. If you find good axles and diff from a post 43 WWII 3/4 you can use the carrier and axle shafts in the 1/2 ton housing with three gaskets to allow for the bigger ring gear. The Zentmyer interchange manual is excellent for this purpose. Vintage Power Wagons can probably supply one for10-15 bucks.
