5 teeth gear, 16t pinion is what my notes say. Both were used in PWs, but not together. That's for 10%, 11.00 x 16 Michelins.
Plus, it's a good idea to re-calibrate your speedo. From memory, 60mph = 100 rpm. I think that is standard, a SW, a Volvo and Dodge tack all were that way.
Using a strobo tach, I found a speed on my lathe that equaled ummmm 43 mph? 845 rpm? so tweaked the speedo at 43. It is spot on by GPS, a borrowed Tom-Tom.
My strobo-tach was Gov Surp. but a mechanical Starret Tachymeter will do, lots cheaper, try eBay.
