Soak the felt in motor oil until it is saturated, The felt may appear square but should be rectangular, there is a narrower thickness that will fit into the channel, start at one end of the channel and slowly squeeze the felt into place. This is best done with the channel over the axle housing. Never try to put the felt in dry! And if you put the felt in before placing the channel around the axle it may pull out. Its an easy task once you get the hang of it!
