If I had to guess I'd say that frame may be a screw on hinge version. Reason being is they are rusted so even and if it they were welded on, they would have been chromed as well.
Never understand why sellers don't use the full 12 free pictures. Why he doesn't show close ups of the inside rail after he says he took the glass out makes me wonder as well. It would make for a quicker sale for him and remove all the doubt and questions.
