Jim,
I ran my pipes all the way to the back with the muffler behind the transfer case. It reduces noise in the cab and heat as well. I exited the pipes behind the axle, reduced the reverb and kept exhaust gasses from harming any rider in the bed during parades. But that is in my Barton Fire Apparatus. I will do the same on the 51 I'm working on
