My '51 has a 318 with true duals. Direct off each exhaust manifold, back to a Cherry Bomb and then dumping almost into the front inner sidewall of the rear tires.
I'm going to take it to a muffler shop to have the tips re-routed to exit in front of the tires, the reverberation of sound waves under the truck is super loud.
The overall tone is nice and the noise level is reasonable from outside the truck.
