i think that you have the right chassis 2500 for the swap. unsure about the transmissions, but you can find the info you need online. i'm never buying a dodge again due to the front end and quality issues. truth be told, im never buying a diesel again either. my fuel savings have been negative - truck gets 14mpg and the extra costs associated with the diesel have been excessive. would have been better buying a 2500 gmc gasser- fully equipped. do love the megacab body style though...
