Given your high ceilings you might want something else for overall general lighting. But for task lighting above work benches, tools, to the sides of open truck hoods and offset above shelving, etc., these hanging shop lights cannot be beat. I hard mounted (screwed into the rafters) a few of these at 45 degrees above the top shelf to face stacked wall shelving and they really light up the contents. Love 'em!
