Jerry. I just noticed in your picture that you have the throttle spring attached to your gas line. Not sure how good that is. It is suppose to run from the small metal piece with holes in it that is located on the throttle push rod back to a long bolt with a hole drilled trough the end. The bolt is one of the floorboard bolts. The bolt goes through the blind nut that is visable in your picture.
