1953 R2 Crash Truck.
One of the rarest of the M37 series. And this one has it’s hard-to-find parts.
Comes with LU4 winch, PTO with front/rear shafts, a 230v, 3 phase, 180 cycle, 3KVA electric generator, and the Pierce governor.
Has siren, spinning red emergency lights, dual searchlights, 100 Amp rectifier with gauges, tool boxes, and one (1) silver flame resistant fireman’s suit.
11.00 x 16 Michelin tires will be removed and used 9.00 x 16 tires put on before sale.
Rear body is all aluminum.
It’s missing the small, passenger side tool box door (flat and easy to replicate).
Have bonded Texas title in hand, and copies of original USAF DRMO transfer.
This truck was parked 15 years ago when a rural fire department disbanded.
Engine is currently stuck.
Truck is located on I-35 in Gainesville, Texas.
