Do you have filter, is it plugged?
Or my pet peeve, was the filter installed by hacking off the steel line, slipping rubber hose over the ends, and a filet in the middle? The rough hacked lines tear up the lining of the hose, which then plugs the inlet fitting i the carb. Or if smaller, plugs the main jet.
When is the last time you checked your points? The rubbing block wears down, and the don't open the .018 they need to. 5,000-10,000 miles between tune ups on these.
