I'll add one caveat to that. I ended up trying a 1-1/4" MC on mine when I needed the plastic reservoir to get clearance for the motor. I feel like the peddle is fine and does not bottom out with 4-wheel disks.
However I used braided stainless brake hoses at every flex connection which is supposed to reduce them swelling under pressure and provide a firmer peddle.
