Jerry: We live half an hour East of that nest; it is very cool. We have two bald eagles living about a mile from our house in Maryland. My guess is not much of our taxpayer money went into this, much of the work at the arboretum is done by volunteers. The interesting thing is that nest is very close to the White House and Capitol.
