yup just a waste of good money on stuff that will break.
i have had lots of people tell me that newer trucks cost less because older trucks have high repair bills.... i don't buy it, the new stuff can be soooo freakin hard to trouble shoot that sometimes you have to pay a guy just to connect it to his diag computer to figure out what is happening.... and I even have a nice hand held device but it does not cover every thing...
