OT am I out of touch or is the world crazy

so i have been looking at used trucks for my dad. and i can't believe what i see.
Maybe this is just Utah maybe the economy is jacked or maybe people just want to pay more for crap than I do?????

So would any of you pay 12,000-18,000 $ for a used truck with 230k miles on the ticker?

that seems to be the range for 1/2 or 3/4 ton gas or diesel, ford, chevy, dodge, what ever it is it all seems way over priced to me.

What do you guys think?
